Happy "2010"?

The Bigney Bunch got together, the whole double 6 pack with their husband/boyfriend and finally got a group photo. They range in ages from 20 to 3 months at the time. It is amazing on how fast they all grow up. We had a wedding for #1 and a new born with #12 in one short summer.

The girls are so out numbered, but it is kind of nice at the same time.

The whole Bigney Bunch

It all came together after a bit of come to Uncle Keith moment. It is so very funny, they all believe him, what ever he says! Uncle Keith would never lead them astray, right?

We found a few little Pebbles in Colorado

We took a detour as we headed out of Colorado and went to find our friend's who left sunny Cali for beautiful Colorado. Rachel thought Keith was a solicitor at first and she was very busy making jam, which smelled so good. Unfurtunately Don had the kids off for some fun time with daddy, but that did not stop us. We found them on our way out. It was on the way to Utah, they picked the best place to go play.
Rachel said the kids did not change too much except Grant, he was a baby. Oh so not true, they have grown up and are so much taller. Reid is growing into such a big brother, where did my little bubble gum friend go to?? Ellen and Maddie, those two are just beautiful and so grown up!!
My kids are so jealous, we now need to move somewhere they have basements! They loved the dungeon at the Pebbles. Oh to have all the video games and air hockey table down stairs and not hearing it all the time would be great!! We will have to see. Colorado was great!!

Road Trip, how many states can we see in a week?

We went on a little road trip. We left hot California at 5 am and headed to Idaho, thru scenic Nevada. It felt good to cool off in chilly Idaho. We unpacked a trailer load into Chelsea and Tyler's apartment and went the next morning for another load that was in storage. We found out we had way too much stuff for the inside of the Expedition and 8 people once we dropped off the trailer. We needed to find a car top carrier.

We had lunch with some great friends, John and Julie. Keith has not seen his mission and apartment buddy for a few years. I always lucked out and saw them when I made the trip to Idaho with Morgan a year ago.

We loaded up and headed to Utah and then to Colorado. Wow, some lovely mountains and no smog! That makes 5 states we have driven in within 2 days. The view out the window was amazing, just beautiful.

We had the open house for Tyler and Chelsea which was so much fun to meet all his friends in Colorado. Jalen even tried to catch a bunny that likes to live in the neighborhood. The carrot Michael gave Jalen just was not enticing enough. Sorry Michael, the bunny is yours.

The most amazing thing to prove how small this world really is. We had some friends come to our reception in California and he brought his brother who just happened to be from Denver, Colorado. Guess who they knew? Yep, the Gutierrez's and the Castaldo's knew each other in Colorado, and the Gutierrez's and the Bigney's know each other in Cali. Too awesome!!

We loved it in Colorado, the weather was awesome. Did I mention no smog? There was a little smoke from southern cali that they were sharing. The kids loved the pool at the hotel, especially after being in the car for so long.
Jalen has a new favorite place to eat at. We went to Tyler's old place of work, Chick-fil-a, and had lunch as we were heading out of Castle Rock. It was really good, Jalen said good by McD and Wendy's he will now take a road trip downtown to get some in Sacramento. Good thing he is only 8 and can not drive!
We headed back to Utah and stopped at the Arches National Park just as it was getting dark. That means another road trip to see it properly, they were just beautiful to see as the sun was going down and as the moon was trying to shine thru the clouds.
We overall had a great time traveling to Colorado and back. A little sore on the tush but we had fun!

Chelsea and Tyler Castaldo

Chelsea and Tyler were married August 27, 2009 in the Sacramento Temple in Rancho Cordova, CA.
They are back to school in chilly Idaho, unpacking all of the boxes we dropped off for them.

Finally we have entered the blogging world. Chelsea will be so proud that we finally are bloggers. For a quick over view, Chelsea is still in Jerusalem for her semester abroad, she will be coming home to chilly BYU-I on the 23rd. That means a road trip for mom and possible navigators. Chelsea absolutely has loved her 4 months in Jerusalem.

Here is a picture of Chelsea on the far right with some of the girls also in Jerusalem. They found this sign on one of their outings and had to have a picture moment. She will actually float in the Dead Sea. She snorkeled in the Red Sea and kayaked in the Sea of Gallilee. How awesome.

Morgan has been playing taxi driver this week for spring break. I love having a driver again. It is so nice to hand off the keys and my card and say "can you go get this from the store?" Spring break also means it is Birthday time again. Happy Birthday Morgan!

It feels really wierd to have a nice calm, less hectic spring. This is the first time since Brandon was in second grade, actually the same age as Jalen that we have not been busy at the ball parks having practices and playing baseball games. It has been great having family time when we want it, not when practices dictate it.
